[Slater's hardly a member of Loki's fan club, but he's not as annoying as David. Without missing a beat, he puts on a well practiced puzzled expression.] You mean you didn't get a letter? Huh. He said he left something for ya in mine… [Slater thinks about this clear contradiction!] Maybe he wanted to be a surprise? [Oh my, is this a faux pas he's made? He certainly does seem worried!] Best forget I said anything. [Yes, David, be a pal and forget?]

Yeah, he did. I mean, he wasn't specific or none, but yeah. I'm sure it's not as bad as it sounds, I mean, yeah, he's like, a trickster god, god of mischief or something, but he graduated, didn't he? I mean, he's a warden, yeah? Wardens, don't... [Trails off.]

He did offer to teach me [Because Slater doesn't have a clue, right?] but you know, he left then. So I dunno.
