Right. Football. That game where you use your foot to move the ball about, not that American nonsense where your foot hardly touches the bleedin' thing. [How can you in good conscience even call it that, people, really?] Any one you lot know how to play?

I've never played, but if it's anything like hockeyball, I'll play.

What's hockeyball like, then?

Everyone has a stick and two nets and it's very violent.

Well, uh, no stick and let's keep the violence to... uh... make sure they started it, so we're covered. But yeah, hitting the ball in the back of the net oughta do it.

So it's kicking only?

How is this sport not violent?

And besides, you can be as violent as you like as long as you can make it look like the other team started it in the hockeyball. Talking of which...

Do girls play?

Well, you try an' kick the ball and not the other players' shins.

Are the girls violent at it? Because we never beat the girls at hockeyball. Don't even think of making me captain.

Girls who play hockey are violent at it, but no, I mean, we weren't really 'llowed play with them, so they might have been at school, or something.

Oh, right.

We usually play against the girls.

Yeah... that never ends well.

Last time I played, someone lost an ear.

I did have to take all the demerits for my team inflicting a bunch of injuries, though. Hence why I'm not being captain.

Thinking the warden needs me to have job anyway.

Does organising sport count as one? It probably would.
